We take the protection and privacy of users of our web and mobile applications seriously and take the necessary steps to ensure them.
Nouveal in agreement with the health establishments can freely modify this policy of confidentiality. Any changes will take effect immediately. As a result, Nouveal invites users to review this document at each visit for the latest version.
When registering for the first time on the ONCO’nect application (web or mobile), the user must provide the following data :
• Last name,
• First name,
• Phone number,
• Mail address,
• Birth date,
• Birth name,
This data is needed to create the patient's account. During this registration, the user must approve the general conditions of use and the data management policy by an opt-in method. Without this consent, the account is not created and the data is not saved.
During his medical follow-up, the user will be required to provide other personal data (whose content is dependent on the protocol defined by the health facility).
Nouveal also collects by default identification data as well as information provided by the user's platform. This in order to ensure the smooth running of the service. These data are anonymous before being processed.
The personal data that can be collected via the application are used to ensure the creation and access to ONCO’nect.
The data entered in the various forms, checklists and surveys will only be used by the Health Establishment to prepare for the patient's hospitalization and / or to monitor the User on his return home.
The identification data is used to :
• To establish anonymous statistics on the use,
• Perform operational maintenance of ONCO’nect and,
• To offer a push notification service.
The web-based ONCO’nect application as well as the mobile applications (IOS and Android) and all the data entered by the user are stored at an authorized hosting provider health data (the coordinates of the host are present in the General Conditions of the application).
Monitoring data can also be stored in the health facility's health record if interoperability is established between the two systems.
The retention periods of these data correspond to the legal durations (10 years after the death of the patient or 20 years after his last stay in the health facility).
Personal data may give rise to the exercise of the right of access, rectification, limitation, opposition, portability and "right to be forgotten" under the conditions provided by the General Data Protection Regulations, by contacting the data protection officer of the health facility.
When creating an account, the user must accept the personal data management policy in order to use the ONCO’nect application. He may withdraw his consent at any time by contacting the data protection officer of the health facility.
The personal information that is collected through ONCO’nect applications is kept in a secure environment (see previous paragraph). Persons working for Nouveal or its subcontractors are required to respect the confidentiality of the information to which they have access.
To ensure the security of personal information, Nouveal uses the following measures :
• Protocol SSL (Secure Sockets Layers)
• Access Management - Authorized and Affected Persons

Nouveal is committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality by incorporating the latest technological innovations to ensure the confidentiality of transactions. However, since no mechanism offers maximum security, there is always a risk involved when using the Internet to transmit personal information.
